Jamaican Breeze Cocktail

Old-Jamaican-Recipe Summer’s almost over, and whether you’re headed on a last minute cruise or stuck at your desk for the rest of August, you’re going to need a nice, refreshing drink to say farewell to the warm weather. This rum-based cocktail is perfectly tropical, and it’ll make you feel like the summer could last forever. This pitcher recipe makes about 12 drinks, so divide according to how many guests you’ve got.


  • 13 oz rum
  • 6 oz banana liqueur
  • 24 oz orange juice
  • 24 oz pineapple juice
  • 2 tsp fresh blueberries for each glass
  • mint leaves to garnish


  1. Pour the rum and fruit juices into a pitcher.
  2. Stir well. Pour into tall glasses over ice.
  3. Garnish each drink with blueberries and mint leaves.
