Keep Meals Fresh With August Season Produce


Are you struggling with meal ideas this month? Try using August produce exclusively as your ingredients! Using a select number of fruits and vegetables can narrow down your recipe choices and help you come up with new, inspired meals. It also supports local farms, saves you money, and lets you enjoy the fresh taste of perfectly ripe produce. Make the most out of the final stretch of summer with these in-season fruits and vegetables:

Peaches and Nectarines

Now is the perfect time to make a delicious peach or nectarine cobbler or crisp. Try this delicious nectarine cobbler recipe with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Or pair this fresh peach salsa recipe with pork or fish tacos for a light and delicious dinner.
